Pulsing Xenia is a unique and mesmerizing soft coral known for its rhythmic, pulsing polyps that gently open and close in a steady, hypnotic motion. Typically displaying soft pink to tan coloration, it can take on a subtle shimmer under blue and actinic lighting. Unlike most corals, its constant pulsing creates movement even in lower flow areas, adding a dynamic, almost surreal feel to the tank. It thrives in many lighting conditions with low to moderate flow, allowing the pulsing action to remain strong and consistent. New frags usually adapt quickly and, once established, can grow and spread rapidly, creating a lively, ever-moving colony. If you find yours does not 'pulse', try moving it to lower flow.
Please note this is not a WYSIWYG listing. Photos are a representation of the shape, size, and color of the coral you will receive or the colony from which the frag originates.
