Purple People Eater Palythoa

Purple People Eater Palythoa, often called PPE, is a classic and highly recognizable paly known for its deep purple coloration, bright green mouth, and speckled ring that gives it a bold, almost glowing appearance. Under blue and actinic lighting, the colors intensify, with the green center shining against the rich purple base. These polyps are larger and more robust than typical zoanthids, creating a strong visual presence in the tank. They thrive in moderate lighting and flow, adapting well to a variety of conditions. New frags may take a short time to open, but once established, they grow into a hardy, eye-catching colony with thick, vibrant polyps.
