Blue Clove Coral

Blue Clove Coral, also known as Sarcothelia or Blue Anthelia, is a fast-spreading soft coral prized for its shimmering blue to green polyps that create a soft, waving mat across rockwork. Under blue and actinic lighting, the coloration intensifies into a glowing, almost iridescent hue that adds a cool-toned contrast to warmer corals. Its delicate, feathery polyps sway gently in the flow, giving the tank constant movement and a slightly ethereal look. It thrives in moderate lighting and flow, adapting well to a variety of systems. New frags typically open quickly and begin to spread, forming a vibrant, encrusting carpet over time.
